The Arrogance of The Lie  The Lie, composed by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., is a story that remains as a mirror to mirror the revolting picture of a deigning group fixated on evaluations and numbers, not genuine learning.â Even however it occurred years back, the nauseating brain outlines despite everything exist in some of today’s people.â They are in particular the â€Å"elite group† or center to privileged families.â In the story, Doctor Remenzel is fixated on Eli having an elevated expectation of greatness, Eli getting exceptional treatment since he is a piece of the higher gathering, and consequently, Eli is embarrassed about himself, and panicked of telling his dad and mom that he bombed the passageway examinations.â All of these things are instances of what occurs in the presumptuous sub culture which exists today.  â â â â â â â â â â  During the start of the story, Doctor Remenzel is fixated on the possibility of his child Eli looking good.â A case of this would be when Doctor Remenzel meets his companion Tom while in transit to the school.â â€Å"Doctor Remenzel highlighted the disarray of the rear of Eli’s head; shot that his news was the same.†Ã¢ The word transmitted, and the entire reality that the Doctor needed to call attention to that his child was excessively going there suggests that he is glad and needs to show him off.â A remark that Doctor Remenzel makes that infers his child is â€Å"better† than others is when alluding to someone else getting in, he offers the comment of, â€Å"If he’s shrewd enough.†Ã¢ The Doctor is clearly saying that Eli is a lot more intelligent than some.â  â â â â â â â â â â This identifies with the deigning group in light of the fact that the guardians of these... ...d comprise â€Å"failing† for their situation) they feel embarrassed in light of the fact that they didn't meet the desires made by their folks or different specialists. Taking everything into account the entire thought is alarming.â How might anyone be able to conceivably get so pretentious and self-centered?â The Lie is one prime case of how our way of life has been isolated and distorted.â Some put their own prosperity into others, maybe due to a botched chance, or possibly as a result of their condition of mind.â Image, extraordinary benefits, and dread of baffling are only a portion of the things that group both the story and our sub culture.â It is a miracle in the event that we will ever quit putting such a great amount on numbers and grades, and begin concentrating on what is extremely significant: learning.â The sub culture sure needs to.  Â
